Privacy

A browser-first privacy posture,
explained plainly

Browser-Based Processing

Small Web Apps focuses on lightweight browser-based utilities. Tool inputs are processed in the browser unless a tool page clearly says otherwise.

We do not run accounts, paywalls, or server-side file uploads for the tools. Some site-level services may still receive standard web request data, such as IP address, browser information, referrer, and page URL.

Advertising & Analytics

If advertising or analytics is enabled, Google AdSense and related vendors may serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your browsing history and interests. Third-party vendors (including Google) use cookies and similar technologies to deliver these ads.

Third-Party Cookies & Tracking

Google AdSense and other advertising partners may place cookies on your browser to:

  • Deliver targeted ads based on your visit history
  • Track ad performance and conversions
  • Prevent click fraud and other abuse
  • Show personalized ads when you visit other sites

Cookie Types Used When Ads Are Enabled

  • Advertising cookies: Placed by Google AdSense and ad networks to serve personalized ads
  • Analytics cookies: Track site usage and user behavior (if Google Analytics is enabled)
  • Consent cookies: Remember your choice from the cookie banner (accept or decline)

Control Personalized Ads

You can control how Google and other advertisers use your data:

Site-Level Privacy

This privacy page is a site-level overview. Each app page remains responsible for accurately describing its own data handling and limitations.

Private tool content, such as pasted text or selected files, is handled locally by browser-based tools unless the specific tool page states a network dependency.
